TP6900-Large Capacity 10G EPON OLT,10 Gigabit Ethernet Switch
TP6900 integrates 10G Ethernet switch into 10 Gigabit Ethernet PON (10G-EPON) OLT, which is designed to handle demanding network requirements for Data Center or Carrier as low latency. TP6900 OLT can simultaneously deliver IPTV, VoIP, POTS and high-speed broadband access, as well as telecom-level core switches with large capacity and high performance.
The 10G Ethernet PON standard, better known as 10G EPON supports symmetric and asymmetric line-rate operations. The symmetric option operates at 10 Gb/s in both the downstream and upstream directions. The asymmetric option, which reflects the fact that IP video services create bandwidth pressure mostly in the downstream direction, uses 10 Gb/s downstream and 1 Gb/s upstream.
TP6900,10G EPON OLT, enables 10GbE to be deployed in the data center, which can significantly improve server utilization and consequently data center power efficiency. And it does 8/16xEPON and 4x10G-EPON to be located on the Carrier Office, for reducing CAPEX and OPEX as significantly.Backwards compatibility with 100M/bit and Gigabit networks allows for a cost effective and simpler upgrade path to 10 Gigabit Ethernet.
TP6900 provides high-bandwidth switching, filtering, and traffic management without delaying data, and large data center grade buffers to keep traffic moving. TP6900 will support Dual SFU(Switching Fabric Unit), PSU(Power Supply Unit) for non-stop service assurance for your network, and Dual FAN module for cooling system to make your system work with excellent performance.
